About Credit/Debit Card

For practical reference and transparency: We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, JCB, Diners Club, and Discover. All store prices and checkout charges are stated in U.S. dollars (USD). The payment options actually available for an order are displayed securely at checkout.

For clarity and customer reference: Payment information is encrypted and processed by Shopify and authorized payment providers. Lava Lamp does not store complete card numbers or card security codes. A card issuer may place an authorization hold, request additional verification, approve, or decline a transaction under its own rules.

Under this customer policy: Customers must provide accurate billing and contact information. If a payment is declined, verify the entered details or contact the card issuer. We may cancel or review an order when payment cannot be authorized or when fraud screening identifies a material risk.

As a clear operating standard: Taxes are charged when required by applicable law and are calculated or displayed during checkout. We do not promise a fixed tax exemption.

To explain this requirement clearly: Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after return inspection and approval.
